Buyer policy
Draft prepared for OzzBaba. Have a lawyer review it for every country you operate in before relying on it.
This policy applies to everyone who buys on OzzBaba. It sits alongside the Terms of use.
Before you order
- Read the listing, quantity tiers, minimum order (MOQ), lead time, currency and shipping details. Ask the supplier through messages if anything is unclear.
- Prices exclude tax unless stated. Tax shown before you order is an estimate; the order page shows the final amount.
- You are responsible for import duties, customs, taxes, licences and permits in your own country, unless the supplier has agreed in writing to handle them. Check that the goods are legal to import and sell where you are.
- Give a correct delivery address, including country and a working phone number. A wrong address can mean extra cost or a failed delivery.
Requests for quotation (RFQ)
- Post clear, honest requests. Do not use RFQs to collect competitors' pricing or to spam suppliers.
- Choose the currency you want to be quoted in. All quotes on that request are in that currency.
- Accepting a quote starts a conversation where you agree the final details. An order is only placed when you check out.
Paying
- Pay only through OzzBaba. Paying a supplier outside the platform removes Trade Assurance protection and may breach our rules.
- Your payment is held under the Trade Assurance terms and released to the supplier after you confirm delivery or a dispute is decided.
When your goods arrive
- Check the goods promptly. Confirm delivery in the order page only when you have received the order and checked it matches.
- If something is wrong, open a dispute from the order page within the time in the Refunds, returns and disputes policy and keep your evidence (photos, delivery notes, messages).
- Do not confirm delivery to release payment if the goods are missing or faulty.
Reviews
Leave honest reviews about orders you actually placed. Do not threaten a supplier with a bad review to get a refund or extra goods.
Behave professionally
Follow the Acceptable use policy. Do not harass suppliers or shipping companies, use fake identities, or place orders you do not intend to complete. We may limit or close accounts that do.
Cancelling
You can cancel an order before the supplier confirms it. After confirmation, cancelling needs the supplier's agreement or a valid reason under the dispute policy.
Consumer law
The Marketplace is for business buyers. Rights that depend on being a consumer may not apply to you. Nothing here removes rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded.
